Default An Argument For Mandatory Drug Testing

One of the coolest places on the planet by far is Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. I've bought a membership there every year since it opened, and haven't ever gone through the ever-changing exhibits without finding something startling and new. Highly recommended for the whole family.

Anyway, I was at the Rock Hall this week for a meeting (they do corporate events too -- insert "sell out" joke here) and remembered something that I'd read -- that Bob Marley had once worked at an auto plant. Upon asking one of the curators, it turns out that not only did Bob Marley work on the nightshift for Chrysler, but also was a lab assistant for DuPont.

It strikes me that the young Bob probably wasn't the most, shall we say, focused employee -- after all, he had three jobs in that seven-month period in Deleware -- but there's no doubt that, considering all that he achieved in his tragically short life (he died of cancer at age 36), he was an extremely hard worker.

And I bet he could've written one hell of a jingle.
