Default Prepare for the Innovation Avalanche

Just read an online copy of the "Innovation Avalanche" (the avalanche is an order of magnitude more intense than information overload, I'm guessing) trend report put together by the Trendwatching network.

Not all of it bears directly on manufacturing; however, there are a lot of next-generation product development ideas presented here, and the report does generally highlight ways that people are interacting with products (like the "Meconomy" and "Feeder Businesses") that are of general interest and that will define your next generation of consumer expectations.

Read it here.
