Question Products You Didn't Know You Needed....

From a recent press release that crossed my inbox...

"E-Textbook web site CaféScribe plans to offer e-books with scratch & sniff stickers that smell like old books starting in September.'... Students will be able to place the sticker on their laptops to enjoy the familiar musty book smell while reading e-books they bought for half the price of regular textbooks."

A unique idea, but I think the article missed the mark on this one. Students prefer used textbooks because they have already been highlighted and have comments written within. As profs rarely change books or test material, its a way to get ahead in the class. Now, if CafeScribe sold used eBooks, then the cheaper eBook might really catch on . . .
