According to an item in the July 7th issue of Science magazine (http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/summary/313/5783/25d?maxtoshow=&HITS=10&hits=10&RESULTFORMAT=&fulltext=Chocolate&searchid=1&FIRSTINDEX=0&resourcetype=HWCIT) Cadbury chocolate has announced plans to incinerate over a million chocolate bars that may have been exposed to salmonella from a leaky pipe splashing water on a conveyor belt.
Instead of burying it one scientist has suggested incinerating the chocolate -- calculating that it could power a moderate sized town for entire week.
I wonder if I should throw my candy dish into the furnace...
